Origin & Brand History
Russel Taylor was established in 1967 to manufacture high-quality faux fur coats. They later expanded into all-weather wear, and Bonnie Cashin even designed rain gear for them 1978–1985.
“Couture Del Pomo” and “Signature Collection” were upscale lines within the brand. These were often sold in salons/department stores and came with numbered limited edition tags like yours. The initials on those tags, like “VMF,” were usually the original owner’s monogram — salons would embroider them as a service for the buyer.
Limited edition tags: has the numbered “9999/3039” tag, which collectors like
