EnSafe Inc., an employee-owned, global professional services firm is growing and currently accepting applicants for a part-time Environmental Technician, operating remotely at a Client site near Milan/Norwalk, Ohio. Primary responsibilities include: troubleshooting of and repairing of basic equipment (including groundwater treatment, soil vapor extraction, blowers, pumps, motors, etc.); diagnosing process and mechanical problems, and documenting site activities. Other responsibilities include environmental assessment field tasks such as soil, groundwater, surface water, and air sampling, overseeing subcontractors, and travel near the site to obtain supplies.
The successful candidate must exhibit a commitment to supporting a strong health and safety culture. Also desired (but not required): A minimum 24 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER, Electrical Training (Lock out/Tag out and Electrical Safety)[NB1] , and 10 Hour OSHA Construction certifications.
