We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Electrician to join our team.
Troubleshoot and diagnose causes of electrical, mechanical, pneumic or hydraulic system problems on production equipment and execute the most feasible method of repair. Installs and repairs electrical systems and electrical/electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment; other duties as required.
High school or technical diploma or equivalent practical experience plus two (2) or more years of reled experience preferred. An assessment test will be administered. Strong electrical background. Sound computer skills. PLC and variable frequency drive knowledge. An understanding of NEC and NFPA70E. Proven abilities in troubleshooting and repair of all aspects of machinery including mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and pneumics. Requires knowledge of setup, standard opering procedures and required maintenance for a variety of machinery and equipment. Must be able to read blueprints and/or schemics. Requires working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic test equipment. Requires ability to use machine/equipment manuals and reference books and to work independently and as a team. Focus on Safety and familiarity with safe work practices, including but not limited to Lockout/Tagout and Alterne Protective Measures is required. Physical aspects of job include standing, bending, squting, leaning, kneeling, sitting. Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
